After Hasidic New Wave was done, Rebbe Soul came into the studio to lay down his track for the album. Rebbe Soul is an acclaimed and versatile musician who fuses rock with new-world and old-world sounds. Of course there are obvious traces of Zeppelin and Hendrix in Rebbe Soul's style, but the music remains significantly and evenly steeped in Judaic heritage.
Aaron Alexander from Hasidic New Wave along with our producer Greg Wall stayed in the studio and recorded with Rebbe Soul, with Aaron on the guitar and Greg playing the piano.
All proceeds from the Rebbe Soul track will go to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer institute.
